He has been part of the British waterski team since age twelve. Brett has competed against and worked with world class wakeboarders and waterskiers from all over the globe with his finger on the pulse of the latest training techniques in wakeboarding, sliders and three event skiing.

Brett’s high media profile includes extensive coverage worldwide in television, magazines and newspapers. Brett was coach of 1995 and 1996 junior European and world waterski teams, team captain and team member of 2002 wakeboard worlds and is also a freelance coach.

Brett’s goal is to provide the very best in professional wakeboard and waterski instruction made simple and effective, both on and off the water, and involve the element of fun, enabling athletes to relax and reach their full potential.

Live Bands booked for after party event

Chunks are set to play at WakeScot this year.

CHUNKS are: Paul MacKay – Vocals & Guitar Stevo Finlayson – Bass Stuart Martin – Drums & Percussion CHUNKS are a three piece rock band based in Oban on the west coast of Scotland.

The band has a big history to them, with all three members being born within a week of each other in the old Maternity Hospital in Oban, as if they were born to be in a band together.

Over the years Chunks have gigged extensively all over the west of Scotland and beyond, building a solid and loyal fan base along the way, playing all sorts of venues. The band has appeared alongside bands such as The Sensational Alex Harvey band, The Alabama 3 and the Mull Historical Society.

Their own material has always received rave reviews, with all copies of their first single ‘Me In Your Mind’ selling out after just a matter of weeks. The boys are influenced by a wide range of artists including The Who, Led Zeppelin, Nick Cave and Neil Young. Chunks have also made regular appearances at various festivals in the west such as the Mull Music Festival, Dunstaffnage Music Festival, the legendary Iona Beach Party, the Tarbert Music Festival and the Mull of Kintyre Music Festival amongst them.

The band tend to play a variety of cover songs and styles when they perform in pubs, clubs and parties, covering a wide selection of songs ranging from the Beatles to Oasis, Green Day to Dolly Parton, there’s always something to keep everyone entertained.

They also bring a sense of humour to the stage and in no way do they take themselves too seriously. Regularly the band perform at large crowds, including 800 during the headline slot at the Iona Beach Party and 700 at the Halloween dance, held every year in Oban. The band has a very busy summer ahead of them, with barely a free date left in the diary. They also plan to be back in the studio this autumn to record a new E.P. Chunks are looking forward to playing WakeScot
